10 years ago, the Commissioner of Yukon at the time, Geraldine Van Bibber, proclaimed for the first time May 15 as "Journée de la francophonie yukonnaise".
To mark this 10th anniversary, we invite all Yukoners to a reception packed with activities for everyone. You don't need to speak French to enjoy the activities listed here.
• Swing-gypsy-jazz-quartet
• Childcare services and children's entertainment
• Photo booth
• Unveiling of aerial photos of the project "Fiers d'apprendre le français" (Proud to be learning French) carried out by schools participating in Yukon Department of Education French Programs
• Unique opportunity to vote for one of two sketches of the collective work Mosaïque (au)2 (Mosaic Squared) to be created in September 2016
