The artist studied jazz piano from a young age, all the while singing with many vocal ensembles. As a young adult, she entered the Conservatoire de Lyon where she studied jazz singing for four years. She later moved to Québec to continue her studies in jazz singing at the Université de Sherbrooke for a year where she had the opportunity to sing, play keyboard, and guitar with several musicians.
